Before tonight's game, Jeff Hornacek and the Knicks welcomed Rikky Degale and Kevin Thompson from the Garden of Dreams Foundation to the game. Degale and Thompson were introduced during pregame intros as part of Garden of Dreams night at Madison Square Garden. Dozens of children from the foundation attended the game.

Kristaps Porzingis (30 points) and Jarrett Jack (19) helped lift New York to a win over Atlanta. The Knicks (13-13) don't get the win without a strong performance from their reserves, including Doug McDermott's 23 points on 9-for-13 shooting.

Some strong minutes from rookie Frank Ntilikina, who has seven points, an assist, two steals and three rebounds against Atlanta. He's played the entire fourth quarter, helpful New York build a 7-point lead with five minutes to play.

Something you don't see often: Michael Beasley fouled out in just ten minutes on the court tonight.

The Knicks miss Tim Hardaway Jr. but his absence wouldn't excuse a loss at home to the Hawks. New York is down one with 15 minutes to play. This feels like a crucial stretch for Jeff Hornacek's club.

The Denver Nuggets had a 19-point first half lead in Indiana today. But the Pacers SG Victor Oladipo scored 32 of his career-high 47 points in the second half and overtime, and the Pacers outscored the Nuggets 62-40 in the paint to win 126-116. OIadipo (47 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 6/12 threes) joined Paul George and Danny Granger as the only players in franchise history with a game of 40+ points, 5+ rebounds, 5+ assists, and 5+ threes.

Here's Jeff Hornacek on Frank Ntilikina's night against the Bulls (10 points, 7 assists, 4 turnovers): "Frank played with great confidence. I thought he played with great balance too in terms of making the passes, making shots. When to shoot and when to pass it.... We want him to be on the attack a little bit more and make a play. It doesn't have to be a shot. And then when he got some threes, he didn't hesitate. When he was open, he shot them and he made it. I thought he played great." Ntilikina played just five minutes in the fourth quarter, leaving Hornacek open to criticism over keeping the rookie off the floor down the stretch.

Kyrie Irving on clutch Jayson Tatum: "Some people have it and some people don't. It's just as simple as that. I think he's pretty much shown that he can play, as people say, with the big boys at the end of the game. Without wavering in terms of his decision-making or anything like that, he trusts what we have going on and he knows where his opportunities will be, especially down the stretch."

The Celtics held their opponent to fewer than 90 points for the 7th time this season. They held their opponents below 90 six times last season.

Jeff Hornacek on the absence of Tim Hardaway Jr., who will be out until at least Dec. 19 due to a stress injury in his leg. "I think it hits us a little bit. Tim gives us another guy who can run the lane with speed and athleticism. You see a lot of times we throw the ball ahead, he gets an easy bucket. They have to honor him on the 3-point line so we have to spread out a little bit more. We don't quite have that when he's not out there. The other guys can step up maybe with shooting but other guys have to create that for them. Tim is one of the few guys on our team that can really create his own shot. So yeah we miss him, but that can't really be an excuse."

A five-man NYPD team has been making sure the long line at the Big Baller Brand pop-up shop in New York is orderly. This probably won't help.

Milos Teodosic (foot) is officially listed as questionable for tomorrow's game vs. Raptors, another upgrade after he was listed as doubtful yesterday and out Wednesday night. It's Star Wars night at STAPLES Center Monday, and the first 10,000 fans in attendance get a Milos Jedi Knight bobblehead.
