Mitchell Robinson didn't play basketball last season but Knicks GM Scott Perry said he saw Robinson enough high school tournaments to recognize his athleticism. Robinson said he didn't play college basketball this season in order to ‘focus on basketball' prepare for the NBA to know he was most athletic in 2017 class.

Kevin Knox says he and Kristaps Porzingis talked about being booed at the draft during their conversation last night. "It's all motivation. It adds fuel to the fire," Knox said Porzingis told him. ".... They'll be cheering for you soon."

As far as ESPN's draft analytics model is concerned, there was plenty of value to be found in the second round last night. In addition to these, the Mavericks picked up two talented players very late in Ray Spalding (Analytics Rank: 24) and Kostas Antetokounmpo (30).

The Knicks can add another two-way player in addition to Arizona's Allonzo Trier. Last year's 2-way players (Luke Kornet and Isaiah Hicks) were one-year contracts. Knicks can extend either player a qualifying offer to them restricted free agents.
