ESPN Stats and Information

DeMarcus Cousins is averaging 27.8 points and 10.6 rebounds per game this season. According to Elias, only 2 players in NBA history finished a season in which they played for more than one NBA team averaging at least 25 points and 10 rebounds - Wilt Chamberlain in 1964-65 (Warriors and 76ers) and Bob McAdoo in 1976-77 (Buffalo Braves and Knicks).

ESPN Stats and Information

With 23 points last night, LeBron James has scored 314 points in his 13 All-Star Game appearances, the most by any player in All-Star Game history (Kobe Bryant is second with 290 points).

All NBA rules designed to keep stars in place can be subverted if stars take less $ or if team willing to take less in trade 4 stars(Kings)

Sources say Mavs' approach to deadline isn't impacted by DeMarcus Cousins deal. The Mavs won't pull the plug on fighting for West's final playoff spot. That doesn't necessarily mean the Mavs won't make a trade, but there will not be a fire sale with Dallas veterans.

Really was a fantastic All-Star weekend, big 👍🏼 to New Orleans & to the NBA. I'm almost considering asking for a trade to the Pelicans too.

ESPN Stats and Information

Russell Westbrook leads the NBA in points scored (1,771). That's the most points scored for any player at the All-Star break since Nate "Tiny" Archibald scored 1,810 points before the break in 1972-73.

ESPN Stats and Information

The Warriors are the only NBA team to be in first place at the All-Star Break in each of the last 3 seasons (2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17) @EliasSports

Another team to keep an eye on in pursuit of Denver forward Wilson Chandler: Houston, league sources tell ESPN.

The return that the Kings got for DeMarcus Cousins (2017 first-round pick, 2017 second-round pick, Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans and Langston Galloway) should give the Knicks an indication of what they could expect back in a Carmelo Anthony trade. Every situation is different, but Anthony would bring back less in a potential trade than Boogie did, you'd think. Further complicating matters for the Knicks is the fact that Anthony has a no-trade clause.
