The Clippers survived to force a Game 7 despite nearly collapsing in crunch time. A 10-point lead with 1:29 remaining was sliced to three, and Jazz clutch star Joe Johnson had a chance to tie it with a 3-pointer with seconds remaining but missed. Chris Paul and Co. live to play another game. "It wouldn't be us if it wasn't dramatic," Paul said on ESPN after a pair of late turnovers almost spoiled his 29-point, 8-assist performance. The big question: How healthy will Jazz center Rudy Gobert be after hurting his ankle late in the third quarter?

Jazz center Rudy Gobert was clearly hobbled after twisting his left ankle late in the third quarter. His health will be a major issue with a quick turnaround with the series looking like it's headed back to Los Angeles for Game 7.

Jae Crowder said Isaiah Thomas told teammates to go prepare for the Wizards while he heads to Tacoma for his sister's funeral. "He's gonna have a busy 24 hours," said Crowder. "He's shown he can overcome a lot. We're his family, he's going to be with his family, so I think he'll be able to bounce back. But we know he's going through a lot, and he wants us to prepare, and that's what we're gonna do. We're gonna prepare, and when he gets back he said he'll be ready to go."

Bradley Beal says John Wall won't catch him from behind and block his layup in scrimmages. "Oh, he'll never get me," Beal told reporters when asked how many times Wall has gotten him in practice while Wall chuckled seated next to him. "That's for sure because nine times out of 10, I am the one setting him up for the block."

On what the Hawks need to take that next step, Paul Millsap said, "Experience. Definitely, experience."

Paul Millsap, who can and likely will opt out of his contract, will take some time before deciding his future. "It's been great," Millsap told reporters of his four seasons in Atlanta. "I am looking to expand this and see where this team and franchise can go. These last four years have been great. Can't ask for nothing more. Now I will take some time, relax and see what happens."
