Good note from Jacob Nitzberg of ESPN Stats and Information: "Wednesday's Game 5 was only the 4th time this season Jimmy Butler has been held scoreless in the 4th quarter of a game, and only the 2nd time when playing 5 or more minutes in the 4th. The other was on March 8th, when he went 0-for-5 from the floor in 8 minutes in the 4th quarter in a 98-91 loss to Orlando."

In his press conference earlier this month, Phil Jackson cited Joakim Noah's passion as a reason for optimism going forward. Jackson inked Noah to a 4-year, $72 million contract last summer and the veteran played less than half the season in '16-'17. Here is Jackson's quote on Noah: "He's 31, still relatively young, there's a great heart in this guy, he has got passion for the game,'' the team president said. "His combination with (Derrick Rose) seemed to be a perfect combination because they teamed well together..,, He expresses great dedication towards getting back to what he was and who he is as a basketball player. So I have to trust him in that."

John Wall has taken his game to another level in the playoffs. Not only has he been scoring and assisting more, Wall has more than doubled his 3-point FG percentage from the regular season.

After dropping a crucial Game 5 to the Wizards on Wednesday, the Hawks have their backs against the wall. Luckily for them, Game 6 is in Atlanta, where they've been a completely different team.

ESPN Stats and Information

After nailing a deep 3-pointer at the buzzer to end the third quarter and give the Bulls the lead, Jimmy Butler looked primed for a huge fourth quarter. Instead, he went quiet and the Celtics pulled away.

ESPN Stats and Information

The Bulls and Celtics appeared to be headed toward a tight finish after 38 minutes. Instead, the Celtics took over with a dominant stretch on both ends of the floor to close out Game 5.

Most NBA teams don't say "1st rounder." The buckets are: 1. All Star 2. Starter 3. Rotation player 4. Fringe guy. And, most give pick 3 yrs.

More I study NBA Draft, more I see not as many "can't miss" guys as advertised. Major flaws about be exposed. Which makes it a normal draft.

ESPN Stats and Information

The Bulls have been a completely different team without Rajon Rondo. Since the point guard went down, the Celtics have taken control of the series and the Bulls' scoring has dropped by more than 15 PPG.

Once he's deemed healthy by the team and the NBA, Joakim Noah will serve the remainder of his suspension for violating the league's anti-drug policy. He will miss the first 12 games of the season, assuming he's cleared for opening night. Willy Hernangomez, Kristaps Porzingis or Kyle O'Quinn are expected to start at center for the Knicks during Noah's absence - and possibly once he returns.

Joakim Noah had surgery Wednesday to repair his rotator cuff, the Knicks say. Jeff Hornacek said recovery time is approximately five months.

Celtics guard Avery Bradley on rallying from 0-2 hole: "I mean it's kinda been the story of our team, being able to fight through adversity. No matter what we go through, we would overcome it. And I think it's a group of guys, our coaching staff, we believe. We believe in one another. I said it earlier, we went to Chicago knowing that we were going to win those games, not hoping. We knew that we were going to take two games then come here and take care of home. Now it's our job to continue to play the same way and finish the series in Chicago."
