Hot start for James Harden and the Rockets against Golden State. Houston up 14-7 as Harden has hit three straight 3s in just his second game back.

Rudy Gay (right heel bursitis) and Kawhi Leonard (return from injury management) are out for Sunday's game against the Pacers. Manu Ginobili (right thigh contusion) is questionable.

It wasn't long ago where the Thunder would consistently struggle to score 100 points in a game. They hit the 100-mark today against the Cavs with 3:40 left in the third quarter. Bit of a chicken/egg thing as to if it's good Thunder offense, or the Cavs defense is really that bad.

Lonzo Ball did some running on a treadmill on Saturday, a week after he injured his knee in Dallas. Luke Walton says the rookie has to clear several more steps before returning to practice. Ball is out for Sunday's game. "There's some steps that come after the treadmill that you've got to go on the court," Walton said. "Do agility work, be able to cut, change direction, sprint all that type of stuff before you get to try to practice."

Dave McMenamin ESPN Staff Writer

The Cavs allowed 10 less points in the second quarter than they did in the first quarter ... and still allowed the Thunder to score 76 points for the half, the most Cleveland has allowed in any half all season.

Royce Young ESPN Staff Writer

With 76 points, the Thunder scored the most points in a half this season, firing on all cylinders against the Cavs' limp defense. Russell Westbrook piled up 11 assists as Paul George dropped 25 points on 8-11 shooting, including 5-7 from 3. In games against the better teams, the Thunder have had a different look to them this season, and at least for this first half, it's more of the same.

Chris Forsberg ESPN Staff Writer

The Celtics' offensive rating with Kyrie Irving on the floor: a robust 108.1. When he's off? A meager 97.5. Irving said Saturday that his shoulder is feeling good enough to return to game action and hopes he can give Boston's slumping offense a lift.

About as good as it gets for the Thunder in the first quarter in Cleveland. Westbrook was dynamic scoring and creating (7 assists), while George, Anthony and Patterson all knocked down clean looks. When OKC plays with pace in their offensive sets, they often get good looks, and tempo was cranked up in the opening 12 minutes.

Dave McMenamin ESPN Staff Writer

The 43 points the Oklahoma City Thunder scored in the first quarter on Saturday was the most points the Cleveland Cavaliers have allowed in any quarter this season.

I think Kemba Walker would be a fantastic addition for the Knicks (and many other teams) but Charlotte appears eager to shed an additional contract in a Walker deal, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. I'd be wary of taking back an additional long-term contract in any trade if I'm the Knicks.

LeBron James is 25 points shy of 30,000 for his career. Currently ranked 7th among the NBA's all-time scoring leaders, LeBron trails Dirk Nowitzki by 33 points for 6th place. Cavaliers/Thunder tip-off in 75 minutes.

Ohm Youngmisuk ESPN Staff Writer

Lonzo Ball (knee) is out for Sunday's game against the Knicks. Brandon Ingram (ankle) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Achilles) are questionable to play.

Chris Forsberg ESPN Staff Writer

Celtics signed G-Leaguer Jarell Eddie to a 10-day contract on Saturday to add some depth while the team battles injuries and illness. What can Eddie add? "They're a great team, just try to add my shooting and my floor-spacing abilities," said Eddie. "Just give them another part that helps win." Said Brad Stevens: "We've always thought very highly of him from afar and look forward to having him around."

Kyrie Irving is hoping a new All-Star format adds some competitiveness to this year's game. "Hopefully this new format gives that competitive drive because I know some people want to see some matchups … everyone's hope of who they want to see go against one another. So I'm pretty sure … we'll put on a show, especially better than it was last year."

Thunder coach Billy Donovan on the challenges of playing LeBron James: "I have always felt the best part of his game is when he passes the ball. He is as good as it gets in manipulating defenses."

Golden Warriors forward Andre Iguodala is being ruled out for tonight's contest against the Houston Rockets with a left calf contusion.

After Friday night's 2-for-25 performance from beyond the arc in Friday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Indiana Pacers are now 9-for-51 from three point land over their last two games. Pacers guard Victor Oladipo doesn't sound concerned about his team's recent shooting woes. "It just didn't go in," Oladipo said. "We were getting open looks too and they weren't going. It's just one of them two couple days, back to back nights. Getting open looks, they weren't going in. It's part of the game. It's part of the NBA. A bunch of teams have [those nights]. We just got to continue to keep getting better."

ESPN Stats and Information

The Lakers shot 2-14 on free throws Friday, the lowest FT pct (14.3%) by any team in a game in NBA history with at least 10 attempts (ELIAS). Shaq only had 1 worse game in his Lakers career with at least 10 attempts (0-11 FT on Dec. 8, 2000)

Important win for the Knicks on the road in Utah. Tim Hardaway Jr. led NYK with 31 points, knocking down 6 of 7 3-point attempts in a game the Knicks nearly gave away. New York needed this win after losing 11 of its last 14 and coming off of a bad loss in Memphis on Wednesday.
