Luke Walton said he thinks Rajon Rondo will play Thursday barring any setbacks. Rondo has missed 14 straight games. As for LeBron James, Walton said, "I haven't seen him do contact yet so you know I don't feel as confident. I know that you know how serious he is about his rehab so he is doing everything possible. We've talked. I know he is dying to get back on the basketball court but he also knows getting healthy is top priority. Whenever that day comes, he will be back out there but I would say right now I feel more confident about Rondo being ready for Thursday."

Klay Thompson admitted that wanting some redemption for the Christmas Day loss to the Lakers played "a little bit" into his explosion. "I mean obviously they were shorthanded, missing their point guard and their best player," Thompson said. "But you can't feel sorry because teams aren't going to feel sorry for us when we're wounded. Just happened to be on one tonight, and I'm happy I was able to do it in front of my family."

Since December 27, the Knicks have been on a 13-day road trip and have taken a trip to London. Knicks' guard Tim Hardaway Jr. was asked about the schedule after the Knicks' loss to OKC on Monday: "They need to do something about that scheduling, especially next season if someone is going to go out there to London. It's pathetic. Two weeks on the road. Then you come back for three days. Then we go to London for three days. That's not the way to do it. We're still trying to catch up on sleep. I haven't gotten any good sleep since we've been back. But I'm not going to make an excuse (of it). I'm just going to continue to fight, keep playing and keep moving forward." New York has gone 1-10 since Dec. 27 and is 10-35 overall.
