Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal and Clippers assistant coach Sam Cassell caught up before tonight's game. Beal dropped 41 points during the Clippers' visit to D.C. in December, a 117-110 Wizards win. Cassell was on Washington's coaching staff during Beal's first two NBA seasons (2012-2014).

Carmelo Anthony did not score a field goal in the first half (0-for-2 shooting) and Kristaps Porzingis had just one on six shots. Certainly seems like the emphasis is on letting the younger guys dictate things. Mindaugas Kuzminskas leads NY with 8 field goal attempts.

Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas became only the sixth player in team history to score 2,000 points in a season while scoring 20 first-half points against the Bucks. It's only the 13th time in team history a player has reached 2,000 points and first since Paul Pierce in 2006. Thomas has a chance to crack the Celtics' top five if he plays in Boston's remaining seven games. (Photo: A look at Boston's top 10 2,000-point seasons via StatMuse)

Carmelo Anthony has played just nine minutes so far and we're eight minutes into the second quarter. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up playing around 20-25 minutes tonight.
