By the way, 36 days passed between Celtics losses. Any way you cut it, that's one impressive streak.

Brad Stevens was very quick to praise the Heat, adding that "it probably felt good" to them playing in American Airlines Arena tonight. He could tell Miami worked hard on screens in Monday's practice. Stevens added that Boston's 16-game win streak was a bit of a "mirage." He's been saying that there are all kinds of fixes his team can make, and tonight illustrated a few.

Justise Winslow, with Bam Adebayo ("he gives me confidence") told me on the floor after the game he and the Heat believe their win to snap the Celtics' winning streak will build their own teamwide confidence. He said the Heat came into this game knowing what was at stake, and what ending this streak would mean.

Per Elias, the Knicks' 28-0 run in 3rd quarter tonight was the biggest run by a team since the Cavaliers had a 29-0 run against the Bucks in December 2009.

Knicks beat the Raptors, 108-100, behind a career-high 38 points from Tim Hardaway Jr. and a 41-10 third quarter, which included a 28-0 run. New York is 10-7 and has won 10 of 14.

Tim Hardaway Jr.'s dunk gives him a career-high 38 points, and gives the Knicks a 10-point lead with 1:30 to play. Hardaway's previous career-high was 36, set earlier this year against Cleveland.

.@celtics are an unreal 14-1-1 ATS in this 16-game winning streak. Will they cover (and win) another? They are 1.5-pt faves tonight.
