Gerald Green wore a white Robert Horry throwback jersey to the Rockets' Game 2 win and a red one tonight. He's in the market for another Horry throwback — maybe the Rockets' space logo jersey — for Game 5. "I'm trying. I need it," Green said.

How much better did Chris Paul feel pushing off his sore foot tonight? "A huge difference," he said. James Harden interrupted: "He's fine."

Mike D'Antoni says Chris Paul told him before the game, "I got my foot right." D'Antoni said Paul, who has been playing through soreness in his foot, feeling better physically was a significant factor in the Rockets' win.

The Knicks are talking seriously with Lakers assistant Jud Buechler about joining new head coach David Fizdale's staff as an assistant, per ESPN sources. Buechler has coached as an assistant under Luke Walton with the Lakers, where he worked in player development. A 12-year veteran, Buechler won three titles as a Chicago Bull for teams coached by ex-Knicks president Phil Jackson. Memphis assistant Keith Smart is also expected to be a top assistant under Fizdale.

The Warriors have made the third quarter their favorite time to our games away all season. This game is far from decided but Stephen Curry has caught fire hitting three triples in less than a minute to put Golden State up 73-65 and this crowd is jacked.

Rockets close the half with a 16-5 run over the final 3:32 to take a seven-point halftime lead. Chris Paul had 12 points during the run, snapping out of a slump much like Steph Curry's third quarter in Game 3.

Behind a spectacular 2nd quarter performance, the Rockets head to the locker room with a 7-point lead.

It's Rockets 53, Warriors 31 since Houston spotted Golden State a dozen points.

For the second straight game, Chris Paul finishes the first quarter with no points. Got his first assist on the final play of the quarter.

Mike D'Antoni waits till his team is down a dozen before finally calling a time out. Rockets offense showing no flow, no pace, no force and no rhythm. The result- no points. Golden State defense swarming to 12-0 lead even without Andre Iguodala.

ESPN Sources: Golden State expected to insert Kevon Looney into the starting lineup for Game 4 against Houston.

Mark Schwarz ESPN Reporter

With Andre Iguodala out with a left knee contusion, a team source told me that Golden State will need to play its four stars even more minutes than usual to take this critical game 4 tonight against the Rockets. Steve Kerr spoke glowingly about Kevon Looney pre-game and he is likely to replace Iguodala in the starting lineup. The 4 stars plus Looney has been the Warrior best lineup in this series according to ESPN Stats and Info.

When Stephen Curry's shot is on he has almost unlimited range. Here he is moments ago, draining one from deep in the tunnel more than 40 feet from the hoop with an assist from Oracle usher Curtis Jones who has been Curry's personal tunnel tosser since he began this pre-game ritual about five years ago.

Frank Ntilikina, Emmanuel Mudiay, Trey Burke, Troy Williams, Damyean Dotson and Isaiah Hicks all participated in a group workout in front of new Knicks coach David Fizdale earlier this week, per a league source. Also in the gym that day? Michael Beasley, who will be a free agent this summer. Beasley, per a source, was just working out at the facility and didn't participate in the group workout. It's not unusual for players in New York to work out at the team facility but it's noteworthy in this case because the Knicks have a new coach. The NY Post reported earlier this week that the younger players would be working out in a group setting for Fizdale.
