Sources tell @RoyceYoung and me that the Thunder have explored the prospect of a trade in which they acquire both D. McDermott and T. Gibson

Marc Stein ESPN Senior Writer

ESPN sources say OKC has interest in Doug McDermott as well as Taj Gibson. Sources say the Bulls, meanwhile, have interest in Cameron Payne.

With an hour to go before the trade deadline, ESPN sources tell @royceyoung and me that the Bulls and Thunder remain in active trade talks

One holdup in the Minnesota talks for Derrick Rose has been that the Knicks hadn't budged on their insistence that a second piece be added to the deal in a return for Ricky Rubio - a player or a draft pick, according to a source. With one hour to go, it will be interesting to see if the Knicks lower their demands or if Minnesota acquiesces.

Eric Gordon was booed by the New Orleans fans last weekend while competing in the three-point contest and now he's back for a regular season game tonight with the Rockets. Will the fans boo again Thursday night? "I always expect different, it is what it is," Gordon said. "I'm here to win tonight and that's all that matters." Gordon spent five injury-filled seasons with New Orleans averaging 15.3 points per game. "It's fun, they have a good culture here and they're starting to love basketball a little bit more," Gordon said of the city. "It's definitely going to be a exciting game tonight with (DeMarcus) Cousins here and I expect a good crowd." Gordon isn't the only Rockets making a return to New Orleans. Ryan Anderson, who spent four seasons with New Orleans, will start at power forward for the Rockets tonight.

ESPN Stats and Information

DeMarcus Cousins will make his debut with the Pelicans tonight. Cousins averaged 21.1 PPG and 10.8 RPG in 470 career games with the Kings. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, he's the only man in NBA history to play at least 400 games for one franchise, average 20/10 (points/rebounds) for that team, but never play in a postseason game.

Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas on if he'd be excited to land a talent like Jimmy Butler or Paul George at the deadline: "For sure. Those are All-Star-type players — superstars — and they change an organization. Like I've always said, I will roll with the guys I got in this locker room until something changes. I always mean that."

Knicks and Clippers have had recent talks about shooting guard Courtney Lee, sources tell Ramona Shelburne and I. The Knicks have been seeking draft picks back in most conversations they've had with teams, per sources. The Clippers don't have any immediate first-round picks to offer to New York may have to settle for a player or get a third team involved to push a deal through.

Brian Windhorst @WindhorstESPN

Pacers involved in talks with teams potentially to clear roster spots, sources say. Teams suspect might be related to Celtics talks

Marc Stein ESPN Senior Writer

Can echo what @WindhorstESPN just said on @SportsCenter: More than a few rival teams out there think Boston has a shot at Paul George today.

Tim MacMahon ESPN Staff Writer

No deal appears likely for the Jazz at this point, according to a source.

ESPN Stats and Information

If they reach 67 wins, the Warriors will have at least 67 in three straight seasons. The Bulls are the only other franchise to win 67 games in three seasons and they didn't do it in consecutive seasons.
