Doc Rivers on the difference between 23-year-old and (soon to be) 33-year-old LeBron James: "I don't see a difference except for he's smarter. I'm amazed, really. We were laughing about it, it wasn't so funny to us watching film. Most players when they get to his age are smart enough now they see everything. But usually when they get to that age, they're too old to do anything about it. Kevin McHale had that comment. ‘If I had the knowledge now but my body at 22, I would have been the greatest player of all time.' LeBron has the knowledge of all those years and he's still top two, three athletic in the league. He has both going for him. He can beat you with his brain, he can beat you with his power. It's a daunting task when you watch him on film."

Toronto reels off a 20-5 run and is up 19. This will be a good test for Jeff Hornacek and the young Knicks. Will they lay down on the road or tweak their approach at halftime and compete in the second half?

Knicks backcourt is having a tough time with Kyle O'Quinn and DeMar DeRozan and Kristaps Porzingis has missed his first 6 shots. That's why Toronto is up 18 early in the second quarter.

The Delon Wright injury (dislocated right shoulder) is a tough blow to an improved Raptors bench. Toronto does have a roster spot open but are only $1M below the tax. Fred VanVleet is now the Raptors lone backup point guard until Wright returns.

No roster relief for Brooklyn with the D'Angelo Russell left knee surgery. The Nets could still apply for the Disabled Player Exception (Jeremy Lin injury) but must have a roster spot open. Brooklyn currently has 15 players under contract.
