David Fizdale on how he will gauge success this season for the Knicks: "Growth. Growth. Obviously if we have a winning season, that would really be great. But I'm just looking at growth of each guy. And can we get to a place where we've developed a group of guys that we can take into the future as we start to add KP, as we start to add free agents. What group of young guys can move forward with us and help us be a winner in the future."

As expected, the Knicks didn't reach an agreement with Kristaps Porzingis a rookie extension, so he will be a restricted free agent next summer. Waiting to offer Porzingis an extension until the summer of 2019 gives NYK an additional $10 million in cap space for the coming offseason.

Indiana is right at $47M in projected cap space for next season after the four-year $72M Myles Turner extension. The room takes into account all free agent cap holds being renounced. The contract is flat across the next four years with $8M in unlikely bonuses.

The Disabled Player Exception that Phoenix applied for with regards to Darrell Arthur is now voided with his waiver. The Suns will have a $7.4M cap hit on Arthur and $50K with Shaquille Harrison. Teams eligible to claim Harrison must have cap space or a trade exception to claim him based on the guard signed a three-year contract in March. The remaining $1.4M on the Harrison contract is non-guaranteed and he has a $1.6M team option in 2019-20. The Suns will need to waive or trade one player before Jamal Crawford is signed.
