Raptors 107, Celtics 97: The race for the No. 2 seed in the East just got more interesting as the Kyle Lowry-less Raptors received a career-high 43 points from DeMar DeRozan while rallying from 17-point first-half deficit. New additions Serge Ibaka (15 points, 7 rebounds) and P.J. Tucker (9 points, 10 rebounds) aided Toronto's comeback. Isaiah Thomas with a quiet 20 points.

Westbrook flirted with a 20-20-20 night, but finished with *just* 17-18-17 in 35 minutes. The new guys, Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott, looked pretty comfortable in their debuts, putting up 20 combined. Andre Roberson added a career-high 19 as OKC beat the Lakers 110-93.

After trading for Nerlens Noel, Dallas is poised to make two more roster additions. ESPN sources say that the Mavericks will make two call-ups from the NBA D-League this weekend, signing former Celtics swingman Ben Bentil and ex-Duke guard Quinn Cook to 10-day contracts. Both players are expected to join the team in time for practice Sunday.

Mayor of Inglewood, James T Butts says adding a basketball arena for the Clippers could delay the opening of the Rams football stadium in Inglewood by at least 18 months. "To introduce another element in it would require city approval and an EIR (environmental impact report) and that would set the project back by 18 months to two years, Butts told ESPN. "To add a basketball arena in there would stop everything right now."
