Al Horford nearly had a triple-double with 21 points, 10 assists and 9 rebounds, exposing the Wizards off several pick and rolls with Marcin Gortat trying to defend off the picks. Washington was also all out of sorts too many times, allowing Boston to drain 19 3-pointers. Wizards can live with Isaiah Thomas making five 3's but not Jae Crowder hitting six-of-eight from behind the arc.

Wizards went from up 16-0 to start the game to losing by 12. Plenty of adjustments for Scott Brooks to make but the status of Markieff Morris moving forward looms large for the Wizards' thin frontline. Morris rolled his left ankle and left with Washington up 45-42 midway through second. Boston outscored Washington, 81-66, rest of way and Jae Crowder scored 18-of-his-24 points with Morris out.
