The Washington Wizards have agreed to a three-year, $9 million contract with 2012 second-round pick Tomas Satoransky, according to multiple reports.
The agreement was first reported by The Vertical.
Satoransky is a 6-foot-7 guard from the Czech Republic who played last season for FC Barcelona in the Spanish Liga ACB.
According to Diario Sport from Spain, Satoransky's agent confirmed to FC Barcelona general manager Rodrigo de la Fuente on Sunday that Satoransky is leaving the European club to play in the NBA.
Satoransky averaged 9.6 points and 4.2 assists on 52.4 percent shooting last season at FC Barcelona.
In his current deal with the Spanish team, Satoransky has a $1.5 million buyout to rescind his contract in case an offer from the NBA appears. Under CBA rules, the Wizards are allowed to pay up to $650,000 to liberate a player from his contract.
