Pacers' Myles Turner placed in concussion protocol, out 2 games

Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner has a concussion and will miss Friday night's game against the Portland Trail Blazers and Saturday's game against the Miami Heat.

The Pacers said Turner is also dealing with a sore neck. He will enter the league's concussion protocol after his symptoms lessen.

Coach Nate McMillan said Domantas Sabonis will start against Portland in Turner's absence.

Turner recorded 21 points and 14 rebounds in a season-opening win against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday.
