Courtney Lee tells reporters in Memphis that he was frustrated by the technical he received from Derrick Stafford with 18 seconds to play and the Knicks down three. Lee was assessed the technical for using inappropriate language, per Stafford. I'm at a loss for words," Lee said. "I wasn't expecting to get a tech." "You can't make the game personal,'' Lee added. "I wasn't even talking to [the ref]. I was talking to (Dillon Brooks). I've been in this league 10 years. I've heard 10 times worse things said. You're ready to throw the ball up but you're eyeing in on that situation?''

Here's Frank Ntilikina after his 10-point, 10-assist, 7-rebound game against Brooklyn on Monday: "My last two games were not that good so I learned about it. I was like let's go, stop thinking about it. I was thinking too much in these games. I just said let's go, let's bring what I can to the team." Richie Felder, one of Ntilikina's representatives at CAA, had a two-hour breakfast with the rookie point guard before the game. Felder talked to Ntilikina about being aggressive and leaving the first half of the season behind him. That message seemed to resonate. "It's time," Ntilikina said after the Nets game. "I know it's about time especially I have to go out there and be confident and be aggressive. I won't relax now. I'm just motivated to do more in the future." The Knicks will need more from Ntilikina and guard Trey Burke during a grueling 6-game road trip, which may define their season.

Here's Michael Beasley after Frank Ntilikina's 10-point, 10-assist, 7-reboud performance against Brooklyn: "Frank's an amazing player. He has to learn what pace he wants to go. But as soon as he figures it out, Frank will be an easy triple double guy. Easy triple double." Ntilikina said that he wanted to be more assertive today after having a few lackluster games recently. "It's time," the rookie said. "I know it's about time especially I have to go out there and be confident and be aggressive. I won't relax now. I'm just motivated to do more in the future." The Knicks will need more from Ntilikina and guard Trey Burke during a grueling 6-game road trip, which may define their season.
