Iman Shumpert on starting for the first time since Nov. 16th: "With this team it's sort of just plug guys in and we're still a team that runs off our Big Three. It's the same type of scheme every time. We go off how aggressive they are and what driving seams open up and what shots they present to us. Usually it's a wide-open shot. I think the only thing that changes is being with the group I might get a couple more wide-open ones playing with LeBron (James) and them in the first rotation and that's usually when LeBron and Kyrie (Irving) are really trying to feel out how the other team is playing them so the ball may swing a little bit more. Other than that I don't see a real difference in what I need to do."

LeBron James echoed Draymond Green's praise of DeMarcus Cousins when breaking down the Sacramento Kings. "Well, it starts with the head of the snake and that's Big Cuz," James said Friday. "He's the best big man in our game. His ability to not only play in the interior, but he handles the ball extremely well, he's shooting the 3, he gets his guys involved at times too. So, it's a big challenge for not only our bigs with Tristan (Thompson), Kev (Love), Channing (Frye) but for the rest of the team as well. We got to pay a lot of attention to him."

LeBron James played his first ever NBA game at Arco Arena in Sacramento. Now he prepares to play his first ever game at the new Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. "It's big," James said at shootaround Friday morning. "It's big." Is it an adjustment to play in a new space? "Nah. Two hoops and a ball. I'm good."

Tyronn Lue says he will start Iman Shumpert in place of DeAndre Liggins on Friday in Sacramento. "I just wanted to do it," Lue said. "Just playing with the starters, I think Shump played a lot better. That's what he was accustomed to doing. He's been trying to come in and help carry the second unit. It's tough on him. So starting, he's always been great. So, getting him back in the starting lineup, we know he'll play great." After a hot start to the season, Shumpert has been in a rut. He is shooting just 21-for-63 (33.3 pct) over the Cavs' last 10 games.
