Warriors' Kerr won't coach Game 4 vs. Blazers

Warriors coach Steve Kerr said symptoms from his previous back surgeries will keep him out of Monday's Game 4 against the Blazers. He acknowledged he could miss the rest of the postseason.

Ethan Sherwood Strauss ESPN Staff Writer

Steve Kerr on not coaching Game 4: "With things getting worse I just made the decision that I couldn't coach. So, as of now, I'm consulting with my doctors. I'm hoping for some improvement. If I get some improvement I'll be back on the sidelines."

Trail Blazers center Nurkic out for Game 4

After returning for Portland's Game 3 loss Saturday, Jusuf Nurkic won't play in Game 4 for the Trail Blazers as they try to avoid a sweep in their first-round playoff series vs. the Warriors.

Chris Haynes ESPN Staff Writer

Mike Brown says until he's told otherwise by the organization, he's going in with the mindset that he'll be the acting coach for Game 4.

Chris Haynes ESPN Staff Writer

With Golden State up 3-0 on Portland, I'm told Kevin Durant (calf) remains questionable for Monday's closeout game.
