Not so high expectations for Pacers

At least according to Vegas. The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has the Pacers' over/under at 43.5 wins. The Pacers won 45 games last season and will replace two starters and their head coach. Indiana is 15-1 to win the Central Division behind the Cavs and Pistons. Odds for every team

Ex-Knick Kevin Seraphin has agreed to a two-year deal with the Pacers, sources confirm. The first year is guaranteed and the second year is a team option. The Pacers have 16 players under guaranteed contracts and will need to cut one of them before the start of the regular season. ESPN earlier reported that Seraphin and the Pacers had discussed a potential contract. The Vertical was first to report the contract terms. Seraphin, a 6-10 Center, averaged 3.9 points and 2.6 rebounds for the Knicks last season.

Worth noting on Kevin Seraphin's contract talks with the Pacers: Indy has 17 players under contract and a maximum of 15 players signed to guaranteed contracts. So the Pacers would need to cut a player - and eat guaranteed money - to add Seraphin to their regular-season roster. The Pacers have approximately $4.6 million in cap space.
