Here are the current and future cap implications in Milwaukee: The Bucks will have $116M in salary this season after the Ersan Ilyasova and Brook Lopez signing. The salary takes into account 13 guaranteed and 2 non-guaranteed contracts (Brandon Jennings and Tyler Zeller). For 2019-20, cap flexibility will be determined by the $13M player option of Khris Middleton. If the forward (and Eric Bledsoe) does not return, Milwaukee will have $28M in room. Retaining Middleton (at his $19.5M cap hold) would have the Bucks with $9M in cap space.

The $129.8M luxury tax apron (hard cap) made it unrealistic for Milwaukee to match any offer sheet north of $12M for Jabari Parker. The apron was triggered when the Bucks agreed to terms with Ersan Ilyasova. The unlikely bonuses of Tony Snell and John Henson plus the pending signing of Brook Lopez left Milwaukee with only $8M in room below the apron.

The Brook Lopez signing ($3.4M) now has Milwaukee $15M below the hard cap with restricted free agent Jabari Parker still unsigned. The one-year qualifying offer for Parker is $4.3M. The Bucks do have some flexibility with the non-guaranteed contracts of Brandon Jennings ($2.2M) and Tyler Zeller ($1.9M). Milwaukee has a August 1 cut date with regards to Jennings. The Bucks now have 13 guaranteed contracts.

Source: Ilyasova agrees with Bucks for 3 years

Forward Ersan Ilyasova has agreed to a three-year, $21 million deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, a league source tells ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The 6-foot-10 Ilyasova was drafted by Milwaukee in 2005 and spent his first seven seasons with the team.

Bobby Marks ESPN

The Ersan Ilyasova $21M contract projects to put Milwaukee at $110M in salary and would hard cap the Bucks at $129.8M. The hard cap is a result of Ilyasova signing for part of the midlevel exception that exceeds $5.3M. The Bucks still have restricted free agent Jabari Parker.
