Wednesday's Celtics-Bucks game featured a rare sequence in which referees overturned a foul call on Boston's Marcus Smart and instead assigned a foul to Milwaukee's Kris Middleton. The two players had collided in a loose-ball situation and went to the floor bleeding, which triggered a video review. "The crew got together, we met prior going to video, and we decided that we needed to look at video because both players were on the floor bleeding so we went to the video review for a hostile act," referee Sean Corbin told a pool reporter after the game. "In the review, we noticed that Khris Middleton initially made contact to Marcus Smart's face. That's how the original contact to the play occurred." Smart earned a technical foul for arguing the initial call and that stood after review.
