Pels' Allen out 3-4 weeks with fibula fracture

The New Orleans Pelicans say guard Tony Allen has been diagnosed with a fibula fracture in his left leg and is expected to miss three to four weeks. Allen fell to the court during the first half of the Pelicans' victory over Philadelphia on Sunday night.

The New Orleans Pelicans had a 101-88 lead over the Houston Rockets with 2:49 left to play in the third quarter. From that point until the end of the game, the Pelicans were outscored 28-22 by the duo of James Harden and Chris Paul, and the Rockets won 130-123 to improve to an NBA-best 21-4.
