Final seconds aren't kind to PG-13

Paul George came up empty on a 29-footer with 12 seconds left on Friday night as the Thunder lost to the Spurs 104-101. Particularly grating to OKC was allowing an early 23-point lead to get away.

The Thunder have won three straight to get back to .500 after handling the Bulls 92-79. OKC won despite shooting just 36.1 percent, with Carmelo Anthony and Paul George combining to score 31 points on 7-25 shooting. Russell Westbrook was solid with 21-5-7 and 4 steals, while Jerami Grant played well with 15 and 11. Now, the Thunder get some tests again, with road games at San Antonio and New Orleans looming, and then a showdown with the Warriors next week.

Westbrook, who didn't score in the first, had 17 in the second, plus 6 assists and 4 steals. Carmelo Anthony with 10 and 6 rebounds, Paul George with 7. Analysis: The Bulls aren't very good.
