Deandre Ayton is getting quite the lesson from Steven Adams in this first quarter. Adams is basically just going through his pregame routine, hitting Ayton with a variety of post moves.

Russell Westbrook (ankle) is out tonight against the Suns. Billy Donovan says he's better, but the team hasn't done much full practicing so it's hard for Donovan to say how close Westbrook is at this time.

Doncic, Barea help Mavs snap OKC's win streak

Rookie Luka Doncic scored 22 points and veteran J.J. Barea added 21 off the bench, including 16 in a first-half surge, as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-96 Saturday night.

The Thunder's seven-game streak comes to an end with a flag performance in Dallas. The Mavs shot 56 percent to OKC's 39 percent and while the Thunder grabbed an insane 26 offensive rebounds, there just wasn't enough consistent offense throughout. Next up for OKC is a home game Monday against the Suns, with a chance Russell Westbrook returns for that one.

It's been a rough night for Melo in his return to OKC, finally getting on the board by way of a goaltended layup. A minute later he missed a corner 3 right in front of OKC's bench and after Billy Donovan called a timeout, Melo gave a long, semi-uncomfortable look at the bench as he went to his.
