Tough road stretch could lead to loss

Portland will have a five-game road trip from March 12-19, including a back-to-back in New Orleans and San Antonio. According to the Mah score, which factors players' fatigue, the Trail Blazers have a low win probability against the Spurs on less than 24 hours rest. Schedule analysis

DeAndre Jordan was issued his second technical foul of the game -- and thus sent to the locker room -- for stepping onto the court to congratulate Jamal Crawford for hitting his game-winning shot before the Blazers had called timeout. Shabazz Napier made the resulting free throw, but the Blazers didn't have enough time to get a shot off and fell to the Clippers, 109-108.

After trailing by as many as 11 points earlier in the quarter, the Blazers' bench has rallied and cut the Clippers' lead to just three points, 103-100, with 2:57 remaining in the game.

Really hope Terry Stotts can find some room in the Blazers' crowded frontcourt rotation for Noah Vonleh, who's had a strong preseason.

The Clippers lead the Trail Blazers 58-44 at halftime. Blake Griffin leads all scorers with 18 points (6-10 FG, 6-7 FT).

Mason Plumlee just fouled out with 3:19 remaining ... in the second quarter. Plumlee played just 11 minutes overall.
