Kawhi shrugs off leg issue after win: 'I'm good'

Kawhi Leonard said he was fine after playing a career-high 52 minutes Sunday night -- almost all of them coming after he landed awkwardly on a layup in the first quarter. "I'm just going to keep fighting," he said. "I'm going to be playing."

We are all tied up at 96 and heading into overtime up in Toronto. The last time the Bucks played an OT game was in March against the Hawks. Milwaukee lost that game.

Because Norm Powell and Kyle Lowry (combined 11-20) have fouled out, Raptors have Fred VanVleet and Danny Green (combined 1-16, 1-11) out on the floor instead for the two biggest possessions of the season.

Now Kyle Lowry picks up how fifth foul. But after 3-pointers from he and Kawhi Leonard — followed by deafening MVP chants for Leonard — Toronto leads 85-77 with nine minutes to go.

Toronto 77, Milwaukee 75 after 3. Norm Powell has five fouls, Kyle Lowry four for the Raptors. Giannis Antetokounmpo, meanwhile, has six points on eight shots - and yet here are the Bucks, down only two on the road with a chance to put a choke hold on the series.

Robin Lopez is in attendance at Scotiabank Arena tonight. Brook often jokes that his brother doesn't support him. For what its worth, Robin has cheered when the Bucks have scored. He is not wearing his brother's jersey, though.

Big shot by Serge Ibaka to give Toronto a 58-51 lead at halftime. Foul trouble could become an issue on both sides. For Toronto, Gasol and Powell have 3, Siakam and Ibaka have 2; For Milwaukee, Middleton, Bledsoe, Ilyasova and Hill all have two.

It still looks like Kawhi Leonard is possibly favoring that left leg. But he's got 12 points and five assists and is guarding Giannis Antetokounmpo.

That first quarter was what Toronto needs to continue to do. Keep Milwaukee away from the rim, limit turnovers and push the pace. Raptors are far better when they get out and run than when they are up against Bucks' stout halfcourt D.
