Notes: As a senior, Marvin O'Connor was named first team all-District by the NABC and second team All-Atlantic 10 Conference. He led the Hawks with 26 double-figure games, 14 times as SJUs leading scorer. Tallied 20 or more points eight times, posting two double-doubles. O'Connor scored a sason-high 33 points against Georgia State, hitting 7-of-13 from 3-point range to set tourney single game records.
O'Connor was named first team all-District by NABC as a junior and senior. Selected to 10-man 2002 Playboy All-America in preseason along with second team All-America honors by The Sporting News. O'Connor leaves Saint Joseph's as its all-time leading 3-point shooter with 231 treys. Led Saint Josephs in scoring three straight seasons, compiling third highest career total (1,678 points) by a three-year player.
As a junior, O'Connor was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Year by vote of leagues media and first team all-conference by coaches. During 2001 NCAA Tournament, O'Connor scored 21 points in a win over Georgia Tech and career-high-tying 37 in loss to Stanford.
Started his college career at Villanova, where he played in 21 games with five starts. Averaged 4.7 points and 1.7 rebounds per game.
