The Perth Wildcats have pulled off one the club's best comeback victories to continue Brisbane's NBL misery.
Perth came from 21 points down midway through the second quarter to steal an 81-80 win.
The victory on Sunday was sealed by a clutch basket from classy import Bryce Cotton, who scored the winning points with a tough running shot with less than a second remaining in the game.
"Bryce made some big plays down the stretch," Perth coach Trevor Gleeson said. "He loves those situations. He wants the ball in his hand and he can finish under pressure. It was a pleasing finish."
A few seconds earlier, Brisbane import Travis Trice, who top-scored with 18 points, had drained a three-point shot from the left-hand corner of the Brisbane Convention and Entertainment Centre.
The Bullets' habit of throwing away big leads continued their misery this season and the reason behind it remains a mystery to coach Andrej Lemanis.
"It's frustrating, obviously," he said. "It's a six game losing streak; two of them have been by a point, one in overtime and another by three points.
"It's frustrating for us. I'm sure it is frustrating for the fans (and) frustrating for you guys (media).
"It's the same story, week in and week out.
"At some stage we have to make the learning adjustment."
Gleeson said he and his players spent too much of the first half whingeing about the refereeing.
"(Brisbane) were really physical with us in the first half and we were complaining too much and I was doing the same thing with the referees.
"We said at half time 'If that's the way the game is going to be played, let's step up and play it.'
"We just kept believing in ourselves. The one thing this club has always had is belief.
"We have a motto: 'Keep pounding the rock'.
"It took until the last four seconds for them (Brisbane) to break."
The Bullets had done a good job defensively on Cotton but they could not contain the slick-shooting US guard down the stretch.
Cotton scored 13 points for the match for Perth, who were led by JP Tokoto with 16 points and seven rebounds.
