Jordan Taylor pitches eighth no-hitter

A look at a few of the weekend's biggest numbers:

Michigan (51-4): Jordan Taylor pitched the eighth no-hitter of her career in an 8-0 win (5 innings) against Michigan State on Saturday. Over the weekend, she struck out 19 batters in 11 innings.

Tennessee (47-10): In the SEC Championship game Saturday, junior Jessica Spigner went 2-for-3 with two home runs, and junior Shelby Burchell hit a walk-off home run to lead the Volunteers to a 6-5 win against Georgia (8 innings).

Baylor (40-12): Sophomore Whitney Canion struck out 10 and gave up just three hits in a 2-1 win against Texas Sunday.

Louisiana-Lafayette (40-9): Junior Christi Orgeron hit two home runs in the Sun Belt Championship to improve her RBI total to 97 for the season, the fifth highest total in NCAA history.

Oregon (39-14): Freshman Alexa Peterson went 5-for-7 over the weekend to help the Ducks to their second-ever series win against UCLA. The Ducks' 6-5 win on Thursday snapped a 15-game losing streak against the Bruins.
