DB Riley on ND's wishlist

Four-star safety and U.S. Under Armour All-American Dietrich Riley (La Canada, Calif./St. Francis), confirmed with Irish Sports Daily, that Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly will be out to visit him on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Riley has a top five of the Irish, USC, UCLA, Tennessee and LSU, and took an official visit to South Bend back in October.

Riley is scheduled to take trips to LSU and USC the next two weekends, and has also visited his two other favorites. As a senior, Riley had 64 tackles, three interceptions and six passes broken up. On offense, he had 125 carries for 899 yards and nine touchdowns, while adding 29 receptions for 436 yards and five more scores. He sat out the second half of many contests because of blow-out victories.

An ESPN top-150 recruit, Riley is ranked as the 10th-best safety prospect in the country. USC has appeared to be his leader for much of the process, but Riley says everyone is running even.
