Big Ten, MAC to experiment with instant replay

It's apparently "Go In On Brad Underwood Day" here at the Sprint Center. Kansas coach (and OSU alum) Bill Self's turn: "I actually showed Brad around on his recruiting visit," Self said. "I was a freshman and he was a high school senior. Thankfully Brad is a much better coach than he was a player -- he was actually a guy I was hoping we would sign because he wouldn't take too many minutes."

Huggins also just told a story about former assistant/newly hired Oklahoma State coach Brad Underwood riding a bike during practices at K-State that included the lines "He was my ops guy, he couldn't coach," and "Maybe he should [ride that elliptical] now -- ah, I can't talk."

Bob Huggins, in fine form, on his team's No. 2 spot in the Big 12 preseason coaches' poll: "Those guys all lied," Huggins said. "There isn't a guy [who voted in the poll] that doesn't think they're not going to beat us this year. Why would they vote us No. 2 if they think they're going to beat us? I don't believe them."
