NEW ORLEANS -- University of New Orleans point guard Bo McCalebb fractured his right hand Wednesday night against Mississippi State and will be out for the rest of the season.
"It was late in the game," McCalebb, UNO's leading scorer,
said Thursday. "I came down flat on my hand."
X-rays taken in Jackson, Miss., where the Privateers were
practicing before playing at Southern Mississippi on Saturday,
revealed the fractures.
UNO head trainer Larry D'Antoni said McCalebb fractured a wrist
bone at the base of the thumb and fractured the base of the thumb
in three places.
