FORT SMITH, Ark. -- Another championship ring from Arkansas' 1994 basketball team is apparently up for sale.
Last month, a Razorbacks championship ring and hardcover book fetched $21,700 on eBay. The person who offered the ring for bidding at the Internet auction site remained a mystery.
That's the case this time, too. The ad on eBay for the ring says only that "this ring is from a starting player of the Arkansas Razorback Basketball Teams of 1993/1994 and 1994/1995."
The ad also says the owner played professionally in the NBA, Europe and Australia and that "the ring is not the same ring that was sold in April."
Bidding was up to $11,500 around midday Thursday and ends just after midnight CT on Monday morning. The item's location is listed as Fort Smith.
Several other items are also included, such as an autographed basketball, a game jersey and a team warmup suit.
Arkansas won the NCAA title in 1994, beating Duke 76-72. The Razorbacks lost to UCLA 89-78 in the 1995 title game.
