Sources: Richard Pitino goes to Florida

Louisville assistant coach Richard Pitino, son of the head coach, is leaving his father's side for a similar position at
Florida, multiple sources tell ESPN.com.

Florida coach Billy Donovan is a former Pitino player and assistant coach and is very close with the Pitino family.

A source close to the Louisville program said Richard Pitino could one day be considered head-coaching material, and going to work somewhere else could enhance his resume. Richard Pitino previously worked at Providence, Northeastern and Duquesne.
