That sliver of green and yellow is pretty much it for Oregon fans in the Sprint Center. The rest of the place is decked in the red & blue of Kansas. It's not hyperbole, this will be like a road game for the Ducks.

Gonzaga routs Xavier 83-59 to earn first berth in Final Four (first in school history and first team to earn a berth this year). The ViewFromVegas is the Bulldogs also covered as 8.5-point favorites and the game stayed under the betting total of 145 points. Gonzaga was the 7-5 favorite at the Westgate SuperBook to win the West Regional before the NCAA tournament started.

So cool to see Gonzaga make the Final Four after being there for the beginning of this run in 1999 in Seattle and Phoenix. Mark Few hasn't changed from when he was an assistant to now. What a win for the Zag players from Santangelo to Karnowski and everyone in between.

Really impressive aspect of this Gonzaga Final Four run is that Mark Few has done it with 4 starters who weren't on the floor a year ago: Karnowski (injured) and 3 transfers: Nigel Williams-Goss, Johnathan Williams and Jordan Mathews.

Gonzaga got to the precipice of its first Final Four with a dominant defensive performance against West Virginia. It made that Final Four a reality with Saturday's incredible offensive explosion.

Happy for Gonzaga & Mark Few on their 1st final four. Sometimes the best job is the one you have. has built a helluva program

Mark Few -- 18 seasons as head coach, 18 NCAA tourney appearances. But now he's taken Gonzaga to the Final Four. Amazing accomplishment for a coach who has turned down multiple BCS jobs (including Indiana) to remain in Spokane.

John Calipari on the SEC: "Every game we play is a Super Bowl ... and I think it also helps South Carolina and Florida. And Vandy, Vandy should have won that game. Arkansas should have won that game. Our league had 11 teams in the top 100." (Photo by Nelson Chenault/USA TODAY Sports)

Xavier has done an admirable job of getting to the rim, and finished with 39 points in 35 trips against one of the best defenses in the country. Less admirable: XU shot just five 3s in the half and didn't make their first until Trevon Bluiett's with one minute left in the first half. Gonzaga is 8-of-13 from deep. Something will need to change for the Musketeers; the current state of affairs is unsustainable.
