Will the pending new Raiders stadium in Las Vegas deliver a future Final Four? NCAA VP Dan Gavitt told ESPN that NCAA policy prohibiting NCAA championships in Las Vegas still exists, per the NCAA Board of Governors. Four conferences (Pac-12, WCC, WAC, MWC) hold postseason tournaments in Las Vegas and Gavitt said that could help garner support among the membership. Gavitt said if the policy changed and if the Las Vegas stadium met the minimum Final Four bid specifications then Las Vegas could be considered by the men's basketball committee as a future Final Four site. But he said a change in policy or a future site in Las Vegas hasn't been discussed yet.
