As Frank Martin cut the net at Madison Square Garden, Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" played in the arena. The moment wasn't lost on the husband of a native New Yorker. Martin, who makes it a practice to listen to Sinatra's "My Way" before every game, called the moment "powerful."

Justin Jackson is the player to watch when he's on offense. Creating so many problems for Kentucky. Tar Heels keep pinning Isaiah Briscoe on hard screens and Isaac Humphries can't switch fast enough to get to him. When Bam Adebayo switches onto Jackson off screens, watch the junior draw him away from the basket and make it easier for teammates to penetrate.

Jeff Goodman ESPN Insider

Justin Jackson showing a lot of emotion, doing a lot of talking. Don't see that often from him.

With Fox out, you could see the communication breakdown before Hawkins called the timeout. Don't have the same poise with their leader on the bench. Wonder how long he stays out.

The Joel Berry II situation could alter everything. Tar Heels getting key minutes from White and Britt. But they'll need Berry to keep up with Kentucky for 40 minutes.

Jeff Goodman ESPN Insider

Joel Berry comes back out of the UNC locker room. Now in the huddle and looks ready to come back out on the floor soon.

What's it feel like when the buzzer sounds and you're headed to the Final Four? South Carolina's Duane Notice still can't believe it.

Berry to locker room. Stilman White checks in 6 minutes into the game. That's, um, not great news for UNC fans.

Myron Medcalf ESPN Staff Writer

Joel Berry II in a lot of pain on the bench. Walking back to the locker room now. Sean May just walked back with him.

Jeff Goodman ESPN Insider

Joel Berry II clearly hampered by the ankle injury. Hurt it against Texas Southern, and it continues to bother him. Now limping off the court.

Great game so far. North Carolina making Kentucky take a lot of tough shots inside the arc.

Florida coach Mike White on disappointment of the loss: "I'm happy he's going. I'd rather be going thank Frank (Martin), but I'm happy he's going."

Darius Rucker just told me he's impressed with how Frank Martin got team to believe it could get here, particularly after losing six of nine at one point during the year. He added that this moment reminds him of when the Gamecocks' baseball team won back-to-back national championships in 2010 and 2011. Rucker also said he's going to Phoenix to "watch a couple of games;" will tweak schedule accordingly.

This UK-UNC game has 2 potential lottery picks (De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk), three more potential 1st rounders (Justin Jackson, Bam Adebayo, Tony Bradley) and several potential 2nd rounders on the court. Another great NBA scouting event.

ESPN Stats and Information

Since the tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985, only 2 teams have made the Final Four after not playing in the tournament for at least the previous 10 years: 2017 South Carolina and 1992 Cincinnati.

Freshman Maik Kotsar hugs it out after scoring 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting in South Carolina's win over Florida.

Myron Medcalf ESPN Staff Writer

So much of this game will be decided by what happens in the paint. North Carolina will attack early and try to draw Bam Adebayo into early foul trouble. On the other end, Kentucky will force UNC to pick where they double. Malik on the wing, Fox penetrating or Bam in the post, and then exploit that.

Jeff Goodman ESPN Insider

UK-UNC starting now. Will be interesting to see whether Tar Heels put Theo Pinson on Fox or Monk. ... I'm guessing Fox and Justin Jackson on Monk to start.

NCAA official tells me they would be surprised if MSG doesn't get another regional when sites are announced through 2022 in April.

The Garden was rocking for two SEC teams and neither was named Kentucky. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey is pretty, pretty pleased.
