Syracuse beats Maryland 72-70 to remain unbeaten

Tyus Battle scored 13 of his 18 points in the second half, Oshae Brissett and Frank Howard each scored 15 and Syracuse held off Maryland 72-70 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Monday night.

Big Ten/ACC challenge kicks off tonight at 7:00 PM on ESPN2. Per BPI the ACC is the favorite to win the challenge at 54%, the Big Ten has a 24% chance to win, and there is a 22% chance it ends in a 7-7 tie.

Recruiting news: Keldon Johnson tells ESPN he is ready to make his college decision this Saturday at 6pm. "I have talked it over with my parents and we are all in the same page. " said Johnson. His final choices are Kentucky, Maryland, N.C. State, and Texas. Johnson is currently ranked at no.7 in the ESPN 100.
