Ivy becomes last to add conference tournament

The Ivy League will no longer be the only Division I conference without a conference tournament, as it announced that a four-team bracket to determine its NCAA tournament bid will start in 2017.

Yale captures Ivy, first tourney bid since 1962

Makai Mason scored 22 points and Brandon Sherrod added 13 to lead Yale to a 71-55 victory over Columbia on Saturday night, clinching the Bulldogs' first NCAA tournament bid since 1962.

Yale headed to Big Dance after 54 years

Columbia was only down by four midway through the second half, but Yale pulled away for a 70-56 victory. The Bulldogs not only won the Ivy League title, but also punched a ticket to the NCAA tourney for the first time since 1962. Yale has produced five Supreme Court justices and sent two Presidents to the White House since its last NCAA berth. Box score
