Central Michigan's Marcus Keene had his 7th 40-point game this season, two more than any other Division I player in the last 20 seasons. He had 41 points in a loss to Kent State. If Central Michigan does not play in a postseason tournament, Keene would be the first player to average 30.0 PPG for an entire season since LIU-Brooklyn's Charles Jones averaged 30.1 PPG in 1996-97.

Marcus Keene was keen once again

ESPN Stats and Information

Marcus Keene is now the single-season scoring leader in Central Michigan history, breaking the record formerly held by Dan Majerle. Majerle's mark stood for 30 years.
