Clemson keeping Brad Brownell. Here's a statement from AD Dan Radakovich: "As part of a comprehensive season-ending review and evaluation, I met for several hours with Brad Brownell to review the recently completed season and to look ahead to 2017-2018. Both of us believe strongly that we should have achieved more this season and Brad is candid with his own critique and assessment. As we move forward, I expect Brad to make changes in the program to better position us for success. He continues to represent Clemson University with integrity and class, and we will continue to do all that we can to help him as we expect to achieve consistent success with our men's basketball program."

Vote: Which team is the biggest NCAA tournament snub?

According to Strength of Record, Illinois State is the biggest snub. If you ask BPI, it's Syracuse. What about Indiana, which knocked off No. 1 seeds Kansas and UNC? Let your voice be heard. Vote now!

ESPN Stats and Information

Based on our Strength of Record metric, Illinois State is the most deserving team left out of the NCAA tournament. No other team's SOR measures high enough to warrant an at-large bid. Notably absent from the five most deserving teams left out are Syracuse (SOR: 56) and Indiana (SOR: 58).

With no case left to make, nervous teams on the bubble (0:58)
Duke holds off Clemson 79-72 (0:45)

Clemson coach Brad Brownell on NCAA chances: unfortunately I have a hard time thinking we are going to make it.

Duke did what it had to do to get by Clemson in the ACC Tournament, even if it wasn't a work of art. But the Blue Devils will need a lot more to get past Louisville in the quarterfinals. And more from Grayson Allen. The junior had zero points - his first scoreless game since the 2015 Elite Eight against Gonzaga- and played just 13 minutes. Seems troubled still by that ankle injury.

Tatum impresses with heads-up dunk (0:28)

As solid as Luke Kennard has been this season, impossible to imagine where Duke would be without Jayson Tatum this season. He has 14 now.

Tied here at the half. Frank Jackson and Jayson Tatum most aggressive at driving the ball for Duke. No surprise they lead the way with 9 apiece. Allen will start second half with three fouls and Jefferson, Jones and Giles each have two.

During timeout Mike Krzyzewski spent bulk of time talking to officials while Jeff Capel addressed the team. Blue Devils not very inspired effort here early.

Grayson Allen earns a technical - and his third personal foul - after he slams ball in frustration and yells a word that rhymes with duck. Allen has no points

Duke taking a lot of jumpers early and not with a lot of success. The Blue Devils are just 20 percent from the arc and 36 from the floor.

Watch: Duke favored in ACC tourney opener

Duke's quest for its first ACC tournament championship since 2011 begins Wednesday in a second-round matchup with Clemson. ESPN's BPI gives the Blue Devils strong odds to win -- the Tigers are 1-8 vs. ranked opponents this season. 2 p.m. ET on ESPN/WatchESPN

Some key bubble games in the ACC about to tip. Think Syracuse needs to beat Miami to feel comfortable, Clemson needs a win to get in the convo.

Missouri and LSU were the high-majors guaranteed to open. But that's it. A lot of jobs left that can go either way: Nebraska, Clemson, Kansas State, Illinois, potentially Boston College. Penn State, Georgia and Washington appear to be safe for another year. And then there's Indiana. The biggest potential domino.
