Trouble in Texas continues as Longhorns suffer 53-50 loss at Michigan, the fourth loss in five games for the Longhorns. They had a two-point lead with 1:56 to go but ended the game with a pair of Eric Davis Jr. misses and a bad foul by Jarrett Allen that disqualified him. They had chances but couldn't close the show.

After starting the season 3-0, Texas has lost three of its past four games. The Longhorns are shooting poorly from 3-point range, and need to pick it up if they want to be in contention for an NCAA tournament bid, writes Myron Medcalf. Must-see teams

Why the Big 12 is stronger than the ACC

The Big 12 is powerful at the top (Kansas, Baylor) and could conceivably get all 10 teams into the NCAA tournament while the ACC's weakest teams hurt its depth.
