HOF Classic to include Baylor-Wisconsin matchup

Wisconsin and Baylor will meet for just the second time ever as part of the annual Hall of Fame Classic in November. The winner will advance to the championship game and take on either UCLA or Creighton.

College basketball isn't that far off. And to get you set for the season -- as well as for holiday viewing plans -- ESPN unveiled the brackets for six holiday tournaments. The Hall of Fame Classic will take place on Nov. 21-22 on ESPN.

Pacers select UCLA's Ike Anigbogu, a big man who they hope will help them defensively, with the No. 47 pick. He averaged 4.7 points and 4.0 rebounds in just 13 minutes a game last season at UCLA. The Pacers selected Anigbogu's teammate, T.J. Leaf, in the first round

Pacers coach Nate McMillan on Pacers first-round pick T.J. Leaf: "Very skillful. (He can) spread the floor. His ability to stretch the floor was the main thing he did well. Defensively, he'll have to work at it. I think he's a spread (power forward). (He) believes in playing the game the right way."

The Pacers, who could be in a rebuilding phase if they trade All-Star Paul George, selected forward T.J. Leaf with the No. 18 pick in the draft. Leaf averaged 16.3 points and 8.2 rebounds in his only season at UCLA.

Cheers ring out from Los Angeles Lakers' season-ticket holders and corporate sponsors gathered at the team's practice facility in El Segundo, Calif., as the Lakers officially select UCLA guard Lonzo Ball with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 draft. "It's a dream come true," Ball says on ESPN. Of the opportunity to now be around Lakers icon Magic Johnson, Ball said, "It's crazy. I couldn't ask for anything more. Learning from him every day, it's truly a blessing." Ball's father, LaVar, said on ESPN of his son going to the Lakers, "I tried to tell you. I knew this was happening before it was happening." LaVar added, "Lonzo Ball is going to take the Lakers to the playoffs in his first year."

Lonzo Ball goes No.2 to the Lakers. Ball shot 73% from 2-point range and 41% from 3-point range last season. He's the only player to shoot 70% or better on 2s (minimum 300 attempts) and 40% on 3s within the last 25 seasons.
