"When you get the football on this team you just have to make the most of every opportunity. That's the way I look at it," Adams said. "I think I had an okay year but I know I could have done better. I will only be satisfied if we win it all."
Carver finished the regular season 10-0 behind the strong play of both their offense and defense. Adams, a 6-foot, 195-pound receiver, who plays alongside other standouts like fellow senior Jarvis Bentley.
"I really focused more on catching the football this year," said Adams. "I also wanted to become a better blocker. I wanted to play hard on every down and not take any plays off."
UAB, Memphis, Air Force, Maryland and Vanderbilt have all offered Adams. He's also being pursued by Kentucky and North Carolina.
"They haven't offered me yet but Kentucky and North Carolina are showing a lot of interest," said Adams. "I think they are both pretty close to offering.
"I like Tee Martin at Kentucky. My teammate, Riyahd Jones, is going there. We talk about it and he's talking to me about Kentucky. He's trying to convince me to come if they offer. Kentucky is having a pretty good year. I have not been up there yet but I am supposed to go.
"UNC is having a good season. I talk with the coaches once a week. I have not been up there but I will try and go see them."
So where does Adams stand with the entire recruiting process?
"Everyone is still in it. I am waiting until after the season and see what happens with recruiting. I am just looking at the big picture and where I might fit in. I want to find a good environment."
