How deep was Washington's secondary this year? It had two first-team all-Pac-12 players (Budda Baker and Sidney Jones), plus Kevin King, who was the first pick on Day 2 of the NFL draft (No. 33 overall). King only received all-conference honorable mention honors.

The Packers have addressed their biggest weakness by taking cornerback Kevin King with the first pick in the second round. The University of Washington product gives the Packers a tall (6-foort-3) lanky cover man. It's the second time in three years they've used their first pick on a cornerback. Damarious Randall was their first-round pick in 2015. The other possibility with this pick was Florida State running back Dalvin Cook but for the sixth straight season, the Packers have used their first pick in the draft on a defensive player.

ESPN Stats and Information

The SEC had 12 players taken in the first round Thursday night -- including nine from the West division alone -- tied for the most by any conference in the common draft era. The SEC has produced the most first-round picks in six of the past seven drafts.

Is Friday the day the Browns, 49ers, Saints or Cardinals pick their QB of the future? DeShone Kizer, Joshua Dobbs, Nathan Peterman and Davis Webb lead the best signal-callers available headed into the second night of the NFL draft.

ESPN Stats and Information

If DeShone Kizer comes off the board in the second round Friday night, he'd be the fifth Notre Dame QB to go in the first two rounds in the common draft era. But history isn't kind -- the previous four went a combined 35-85 as starters in the NFL.
