Quinton CarterSafety | Oklahoma
If you need a dose of what's right with college football, check out Oklahoma senior safety Quinton Carter. He led the Sooners with 56 solo tackles and four interceptions and is the latest in a long line of stellar defensive backs developed in head coach Bob Stoops' 12 seasons in Norman.
But Carter, a two-year starter, also has performed a significant amount of community service, including interning at a day-care center this year. The little tykes love him. So do the big guys in crimson and cream. The NFL scouts are pretty fond of him, too.
