Nick Fairley

Defensive tackle | Auburn

Whether you believe Fairley is a dirty player or not, it's hard to argue he wasn't the most dominant player on the field during the Tostitos BCS National Championship Game. The Lombardi Award winner helped hold No. 2 Oregon's offense to only 75 rushing yards in No. 1 Auburn's 22-19 victory.

Fairley finished with five tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack and one forced fumble. He was part of the swarm of Auburn defenders who stuffed tailback Kenjon Barner on fourth-and-goal at the Tigers' 1 late in the third quarter and disrupted the Ducks' goal-line offense throughout the night.
