Corey LiugetDefensive tackle | Illinois
Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III ran for 25 yards on his first carry against Illinois in the Dec. 29 Texas Bowl. Griffin didn't find much room to run the rest of the way, as the Illini's defense harassed him throughout in a 38-14 loss at Reliant Stadium in Houston.
Liuget, a junior from Miami, was the ringleader of Illinois' defense, finishing with five tackles, 2½ tackles for loss and one sack. Griffin passed for 306 yards with one touchdown, but he was held to only 44 rushing yards and was sacked three times.
