Mason Foster

Linebacker | Washington

When Nebraska played at Washington during the regular season, the Cornhuskers had 21 first downs and 533 yards of offense in a 56-21 rout. When the Cornhuskers and Huskies played again in the Dec. 30 Bridgeport Education Holiday Bowl, Nebraska was held to 14 first downs and 189 yards of offense in a stunning 19-7 loss.

Foster, a senior from Seaside, Calif., was a big reason why Nebraska looked so bad. Playing linebacker and defensive end, Foster had 12 tackles, two sacks and one pass breakup in Washington's dominating defensive performance.
